Connections Women's Ministry

FSBC Women's Ministry, "Connections", offers women of all ages and all stages of life an opportunity to connect to other women and to God in order to develop meaningful friendships, receive support and encouragement, and grow in the knowledge of God. "Connections" offers Bible Studies, luncheons & banquets, arts and crafts, special events, retreats and more.

This is an exciting season of new growth in our Women’s Ministry. While continuing to provide a solid foundation of prayer, Bible study and discipleship, we are also making plans for new programs that will meet the diverse needs of our women. Whether you are married or single, young or old, new to the area or a long time resident, member of FSBC Pratt or not, "Connections" Women's Ministry is for you!

Please contact the Women's Ministry Director, Julie Bohn, for more info.

HINTS ON CHILD TRAINING" by Henry Clay Trumbull

Tuesdays 9:30-11:30am at Eck's (50412 SE 30th St)

Starts September 15 (Childcare provided)

Imagine what it would be like if you could go back in time and learn all about child training from a man who understood family values. In 1890, Elisabeth Elliot's great –grandfather, Henry Clay Trumbull, wrote his child-training hints at age 60 after raising eight children of his own. This evangelist, Civil War chaplain, biblical archaeologist, and Sunday school pioneer shares from a lifetime of practical experience.

Compassion International

"Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience" - Colossians 3:12

One of the focuses for "Connections" Women's Ministry is to show compassion to those less fortunate. We have partnered with the charity Compassion in sponsoring several children internationally who have been abandoned and placed in orphanages. We have also continued to educate women and support those who have been forced into sex trafficking. If you would like to know how to help visit www.compassion.com
